I hate the lyrics

I don't like the lyrics at all except "the notes they came." It's wannabe Bob Dylan shit. I don't mean to be harsh but I need to rethink this. I'm going to madison for Holloween and some of my favorite people are up there. I think the idea of fitting into the character is perfect for Holloween. On a good note I know some people who could help with bass or drums. A few shots of (kool-aid) can get you some ideas.

Some progress

Well, I've made some progress. The chord progression for the beginning of the song is as follows:

Am G F

It's very simple, but I'm very new at piano and not looking to write anything too complicated. I also have some lyrics and they are:

As my mouth is wired shut
Bent beams blind my eyes
Capital in a rut
Poor shaped fucked up guise

As myriads strain
The notes they came

Ponds resting on my brain
Tweezers on my tongue
Cinderblocks on my legs
A latters broken rung

I don't know if I even like these lyrics or if they make sense but I'll continue to work on it. I should have some soundbites soon enough.

Rocky Start

Well my project has been off to a rocky start. I have several ideas for my song but have not figured out how to put them together. At this point I don't have much of anything and I'm starting to doubt that I can come up with something worthwhile. I do have a sort of a somewhat interesting chord progression, but it doesn't fit a foundation for a song. I haven't been feeling great lately, so perhaps I'll be more productive when I feel better. I hope to have a basis for a song put together by next week.
